Shooting Star

I am so restless. I feel as though there is something I should write, but when it comes down to it I am blank. The past few days have been very taxing emotionally. I think I am learning though that the Lord is faithful. When I actually give Him room do move in my life, like I keep asking Him to, He does. I'm not saying I've seen huge progress in the last 48 hours, but I am beginning to experience some peace.

I am so thankful for the women God has placed in my life. The counsel of those such as Melanie K. , Rachel S., Amy D., and too many others to list, is indispensable.

I was listening to Wide Awake today, missing Thursdays at Lucky Lounge with Kara, and I can't get these lyrics out of my brain:

I find myself back where I started.
Too scared to jump, too anxious to sit still.
I'm not ready to let go,
but I will need a patient hand to catch me when I am.

Shooting Star (album: Bigger Than Ourselves) - Wide Awake

The Lord is showing me that His patient hands are there in more ways than one. Not only is He calming me in my times with Him, but He is showing me the people He has placed in my life to physically be His hands.

Mulungu ni wambweno tawi nzonse.
(God is good all the time)
