Mulibwanji!

So it's been ages since I've updated this thing. I have been Zambia and back, and all I can say is God is good. There is some amazing work happening in Zambia this summer (winter) and the Lord is setting captives free!

This year our theme is John 8:32 - Freedom in Christ. Each day we took the children through different lies the Enemy tells them and explained that for every lie of Satan their is a Truth of God. In Christ I am Loved. In Christ I am Accepted. In Christ I am Secure. In Christ I am Significant. In Christ I am Victorious. In Christ I am Free.

He whom the Son sets free shall be free indeed. And let me tell you...these kids are being set free!

I was blessed to work with several of my boys from Jesus Army again Week 1. It did my heart such good to spend time with them and pray with them. I love working with boys! Girls...eh. I'm just not gifted with girls! My girls Week 2 - from Jesus Cares-George - were more of a struggle. Of course I found out later part of that struggle was due to the fact that my translator was not speaking good Nyanja!

I was also so blessed by the high school students that traveled with me. Nolan Gore, Kristin Maurer, MaryMartha Bauman and Will & John Tucker were AMAZING! These young adults accepted their task head on and ministered to the kids like it was going out of style!
